What We Offer
Home delivery is a way that we can get our products to you at your convenience. This is also a way people can continue to buy from us after the markets have come to an end. Life can/is busy if your family is anything like ours and getting to a market is just another item on our long list of "to does". We offer the deliveries for several reasons. The main one is to make our products more available and to keep a source of revenue during the winter months. The next reason is to foster a relationship between the grower and consumer. "Real food" is sometimes different than what people are used to getting in the store by knowing the people who grow or raise your food you can ask how your food is grown.
Memberships: Our membership programs are a great way to partner with us in what we are doing. If you are interested in regenerative agriculture and nutrient dense foods then this may be a great fit for you. We have two options to choose from full year or monthly. With your membership you will get a minimum of $45 of produce each week with the option to add on extra items as a guarantee for weekly delivery. Also, you get full access to our farm for free classes, foraging, and parties that we host, discount on U-Pick items, and extra bonus items that we grow an abundance of. We have a lot of new ideas that will be in addition to our memberships in the future. What an exciting time to partner with us. Our memberships are currently full but if you would like to be added to a waiting list please drop us a note and let us know.
Delivery Area
The markers are locations of deliveries we currently have. If you are located within or close to one of these points we would love to deliver to you. If you are unsure, drop us a note by using the tab below and we will be glad to let you know if your address is within our area.
Our Schedule on Delivery Day
All orders are due in by midnight on Tuesday, any order placed after midnight may be pushed back to the following week due to product availability. We begin picking everything Wednesday morning and assembling the bags in the afternoon. Once we have the bags filled they are packed into coolers with Ice packs to keep everything cold. Once we have all orders filled we start our route. We start in the south east corner and work our way clockwise around and end up in the north east corner
Delivery Fee
We offer free Wednesday home delivery on orders over $20.00. For orders that are less than $20.00 there is a $5.00 delivery fee. For orders delivered on days other than Wednesday there is an additional fuel fee of $5.00. If you need a delivery made on a special day a request needs to be made to us by contacting us.
Payments
You can choose the best method of payment on our deliveries. We don't restrict you in any way. You can pay us cash when we make deliveries, you can write us a check and leave it in the empty bag (we don't recommend leaving cash unattended). You can pay online through Square in a secure environment, we pay extra to have our site watched by McAfee. We never use or exchange your information in a way not authorized by you.
Cooler Bags
Not going to be home? No worries we have insulated bags to keep your items cold or from freezing. The bags are rated to have a two hour temperature control and will begin to change temperatures slowly after that. We feel that it will keep everything good for at least four hours. It is important that these bags get returned each week as we have a limited supply.
How Our Delivery Works
Following our schedule as laid out above, we make delivery to your house with an insulated bag. We then exchange a full bag for the empty from the previous week. If no bag is left out we will assume that someone is home and we will knock or make contact by the phone number listed during the checkout process. This also applies to people paying COD.
Our Guarantee
When you buy from us you are buying directly from our farm. There are no middle men, you are dealing with us. This make our deliveries personal and we take that very serious. Since you are dealing with the people who are growing your food directly, and we are busy growing the products we offer, mistakes do happen. That is why we guarantee our products. We guarantee that orders will be as you requested unless we run out of a product, in which a refund or a substitute will be issued. If a mistake is made we will make it right, on our dime. We guarantee that the products we offer will be delivered in excellent condition. If you, for any reason are not satisfied with a product we will refund or replace the item, again on our dime.
